Tribute to Colin Jerwood

I’d seen Conflict for the first time on my 17th birthday: New Years day 2019. After the set and having drunk too much beer, I bounded up to Colin fod a selfie and he looked a bit bewildered. I next got to see them at Rebellion festiva 2019 and they played a blinder of a set. This time I was much more reserved when I saw Colin walk down the street. I said “nice set” and to my surprise he came and sat next to me and we talked all things punk for the next half an hour. It was a lovely encounter, Conflict remain one of my all time favourites and Colin will be sorely missed.
